Well, I seem to be a flunk out when it comes to blogging. I am not sure why as I have been an avid journal keeper for many years. So I am dusting off my blog here and making a new post.
Winter is arriving early it seems here in Indiana. We have a thin blanket of slow and the winds are bitter cold. For some reason the hush and still of winter inspire the crafter in me. I love curling up with a cup of coffee or hot tea and picking up a set of knitting needles, a crochet hook or my cross-stitch supplies and sitting in front of a window where I can craft while watching the beauty of a winter wonderland.
This week I finished up some ornaments for the shut-ins at my local church and for the team that I serve with visiting those shut-ins. This can be a lonely time of year for many people. Make a point to go out of your way to let others know that you love and care about them. I hope in some small way these ornaments will put a little warmth in the hearts of those that receive them this cold winter.

What wonderful ornaments you have created! Are they mounted on scrapbook paper or fabric? Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you Robin. I used scrapbook paper and then they were sent through my laminating machine.
